iMac display is not working

My iMac display is not working. I can hear the computer running but no display. I have done several resets (un-plug the computer and all peripherals (except mouse and keyboard), wait 15 seconds, then plug in, wait 5 seconds and then restart.

I did that several times. I can hear the boot sound but still no screen. I then reset the ram (option+command+P+R) several times. Still the same outcome. I can now hear the boot sound every 5 min as the computer is trying to reboot.

Shutdown the Mac and do an SMC reset:

Then let it boot completely and shine a flashlight on your screen. Can you see either the login screen or your Desktop on the screen?
