MacBook Air 11’ trackpad and keyboard not working

Around 2 days ago, I took my MacBook Air 11’ into a steamed up bathroom. It was there for 15 minutes after which I took it out of there. When I tried using it, the trackpad was not working, nor was the keyboard. I held down the power button and the device turned off, after which I restarted it but the trackpad and the rest of the keys on the keyboard were still non functional. Upon turning the laptop on, it showed a pop up notice that there wasn’t a keyboard connected. After a web search, I blow dried the laptop with a cool air setting and then left it to dry for 48 hours. I turned it on again today and the trackpad and keyboard still aren’t working (with the exception of the power button). Any help on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated
