Just bought a brand new MacBook Air in Canada, running Mojave. Synced all data from old MacBook Pro. Everything works fine except can’t open Contacts - just get a horrible crash message with all kinds of lines of code. Gives option to Reopen, but keeps failing in the same way.

Boot into Safe Mode and try Contacts from there. Reboot normally and try again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
