Touch ID problem

My iPhone's Touch ID has crashed and crashes and gives me this message when I turn it on: Unable to complete Touch ID setup.

Please go back and rty again.

Try a forced restart of your iPhone. If that doesn't work do a restore in iTunes from your backup. If it still doesn't work click on the Contact Support link in the top right of this page.

It’s “paired” with the logic board and sometimes it loses that and the connection needs to be reset. Apple and some AASPs have equipment that does that.

Then click on the Contact Support link a the top right of the page as I suggested.

I restarted the iPhone, restored the settings, restarted with iTunes, but Touch ID is still off
