5 hours of screen on as shown in that repiry use would drain down to 15% .

I had 4 hours 22 minutes of screen on and 12 minutes screen off and it was at 13%

There are many factors, some apps use more power than others, and outdoor use in bright light uses more than use in a dim office because of the auto brightness, so summer battery life is generally less.

(and friends often boast a bit!)

Yes for that level of addiction take a charger out with you.

Or do as others and have the screen barely visible.

Smaller battery, much less powerful processor, smaller screen area and resolution.

Still uses whole battery up mostly indoors over 5 hours which my wife considers too much anyway.

Its why the likes of McDonalds and many new cars have charging slabs.
