Recent issues with iCloud and Windows 7/Outlook

I was using Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 and icloud syncing stopped working a few days ago, I tried logging out of icloud an back in again and that just caused "Your setup couldn't be started because the iCloud server stopped responding" message to appear when trying to install icloud into outlook. This fixed the problem, although I aslo had to remove and then reinstall APLZOD32.dll

This solved my problem. I already had Windows KB314025 installed. Running MicrosoftEasyFix 51044 added the needed registry keys. Many thanks!

can't be certain that we have the same issue, but I went here (windows easyfix) and downloaded where the blue download button is. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3140245/update-to-enable-tls-1-1-and-tls-1-2-as-default-secure-protocols-in-wi

Saved and ran the download; restarted PC after completing download; and that did it (for me). Outlook didn't automatically have the iCloud add-in refresh buttons, so i had to enable them (Read farther up for my reply on that).

Others more savvy may have done things a diff way, but I couldn't explain that to you. Maybe read up on and/or let others give you a layman's term step by step before you do what I did -- I wouldn't want you to lose anything important, though i haven't noticed anything having erased on my end. Hope this helps!

Finally fixed this same issue I've had. Yay!!

I already had Windows KB314025 installed in 2016. Running MicrosoftEasyFix 51044 took care of this recent issue. Need to restart following the quickfix.

I think this worked MartizaIM...at least I got past the iCloud Server not responding msg. Thank you so much for taking the time to write. However, Outlook Setup for iCloud to synch calendars has now been running for 2 hours "setting up". Any idea if that's reasonable? (There's no time-left indicator.)

No clue, man. I assume it depends on how much content your calendar(s) have, although mine took like 5-10 min and it’s pretty packed. U shouldn’t be in outlook while it’s setting up on iCloud, though, so be sure you’re completely out of Outlook. Maybe reboot and try it again(??) 2 hrs seems excessive.

I have Update KB3140245 installed but the same problem continues. I'd like to try the Easy Fix solution but Microsoft eliminated their Easy Fix solutions. Any idea where I can find a copy of Easy Fix 51044 to try out? Can I make the changes manually? If so how?

Great job -this fixed it for me. I'd been reinstalling icloud multiple times to try and clear this glitch and getting pretty frustrated!
