I recently got an update for my iMac and when computer installs and promptes me to restart my iMac when I click restart my computer starts to boot back upend my screen turns red and and freezes. I can see the little white spinning wheel start rotating but after a second or 2, it freezes and the screen freezes on red....Computer is iMac late 2015
Most likely, your Mac has a corrupted or missing device driver for the reason it will not start up normally. Please go through the steps in the following article. You can skip the one about using Safe Mode since you have already tried that.
Try booting up your iMac in Safe Mode. Does it boot up to the macOS Desktop?
