my iPhone XS has had a resent problem with the cellular data. it says It needs to be updated but every thing is up to date I have done everything even reset my iPhone to factory settings. but now its stuck because it needs a update with the carrier and I don't know what to do

iPhone xs no carrier. Stuck on "verifying update" My iPhone xs says "no carrier" and won't allow me to access my cellular data option. it says "Error" and that I need to update to access that information (currently running 12.2.1). But when I try to update it, it gets stuck on "verifying update" and won't go into the updating itself. I've tried connecting it to my MacBook but it won't allow me to access my phone even with the correct code and everything. So my question is this, what do I do next? Take it to the apple store or try another home remedy?

Carrier update My cellular service says an update is required. I have no idea what is wrong with my phone but I need help please.

Plug your iPhone into your iTunes computer using a USB cord and once iTunes opens select "check for update" and that should update the carrier settings.
