Can I hear calendar alerts in silent mode?

Is there any way to have the calendar notification alerts make a sound even when the silent mode is on? (Like the clock alarms?) I miss reminders because my phone is on silent. Thank you.

Calendar alerts don’t sound when phone is locked When I set clanendar Alerts, there is no alert sound when the phone is locked, there's only a banner that appears with the calendar event. When I am using the phone, and it is unlocked the alert sound plays with banner. I have checked settings and I can't seem to find out what is wrong or why the alert sound does not play when the phone is locked.

iPhone 11 Silent Mode Why are calendar events still making a sound when I have it in silent mode (side switch down) on iPhone 11? How do I make silent mode apply to everything?

Not receiving calendar notifications after restarting phone 15.2 iOS Anyone else have a fix for not receiving calendar notifications (both sound and banners) after restarting the phone on iOS 15.2? I also had this same issue with iOS 15 and 15.1. I found a fix that fixes the sound notifications for all calendars when phone is not being used, but it does not provide sound when using phone. Also it will keep notification banners displayed for the Google calendar but the apple calendar (the calendar that automatically comes on the phone), it only displays the banner for a second then disappears. If I don’t see it within that second then I would not know what was displayed, and if I’m not using the phone or sleeping and don’t hear the tone then I have no idea of any notification since it disappears.

Sorry, no. When in silent mode, only the alarms you set in the Clock app will still sound, and calls from Favorite contacts will still ring. All alerts are muted.

All sounds except alarms are silenced. Vibrations are not. So, set your phone to vibrate and keep it on your person.
