Quicktime - export a still frame?

Is it no longer possible to export a still frame from Quicktime? I've seen old instructions online that don't match up with the current menu options. I'm using version 10.5.

(under File and Export As... there only appear to be video options)

I have tried to import the finished iMovie to save the edits, but upon re-exporting it loses a generation of sharpness and is not exceptable or sharp enough like the original. MPEG Streamclip's Export Frame... still works in Mojave. (Get Info > Open In Low Resolution to get rid of the display artefacts with this old app).

Also QuickTime Player 7 Pro still works if you have bought it when it was available...

Just make the QuickTime window as large as you wish, pause it on a frame you want and hit the command, shift, and 4 keys.

Drag the crosshairs over the frame and go to your Desktop for a copy.
