Apple TV iCloud problem

My Apple TV won’t connect to my iCloud.. simply says could not communicate with the server.. some one please help.. for weeks now it has done this

When signing in on an older device you need to enter the password and code together, and there is a time limit. To avoid exceeding the limit enter the password, then request the code, and add it to the password
