Sms not working

when I send an sms to A... it now merged to person B contact ? Not blue iMessages ... green SMS. They do not share the same Apple ID. But person A phone USED TO be person B phone so that APPLE ID was used on the device previously

so now I can not sent person A a message... it will just go to person B

can anyone assist as to why? And how can I stop it

person A has been using this phone for nearly a year.. and only has started happening this week

Problems with messages Hi, from my new iPhone 12 sms cannot be sent, only iMessages. I have checked the settings and selected both options "iMessage" and "Send as sms". May it depend from the fact that 2 iPhones are associated to my iCloud profile ? Messages Why when i send text messages is it going to another persons iphone as 2 seperate text messages. Theres 2 of my contact on their messaging app & they can’t fix the problem

Apple to Apple device still sending SMS This particular person who has an iPhone 13 is the only person who I send messages they SMS. Every iMessage setting is enabled and correct, but I still send thru SMS for some reason, any info?

SMS is a carrier feature. I'd start by contacting them.
