mojave itunes tags not saving

my new mojave itunes is not saving songs tags, any solution?

My understanding is that DJay doesn't allow you to create or store tags, it just uses the tags created in iTunes. So the issue seems to be with iTunes. Please can anyone help advise why these tags have disappeared from iTunes and how she can get them back. She's not using Catalina, so probably using Mojave. Many thanks for any suggestions.

iTunes not updating tags in song view even though song info reflects changes Hello, I updated some tags using KeywordsToGenre.vbs by tt2. I also tried this on another song updating the tag manually in Song Info. The new tag I updated, Genre, does not reflect the change when I view the song in song view. It still displays the old information, even if I update the tag by clicking song info or using UpdateTagInfo.vbs, also by tt2. The strange thing is that if I look at the Song Info, the updated information is displayed. The same goes for when I import it into MP3Tag, the new information is displayed. It is very strange. I even restarted iTunes, and the changes are not reflected. Any ideas on why this is happening?

iTunes won't save mp3 tag edits Full disclosure: stuck on High Sierra and iTunes 12.8. This was working totally fine yesterday, and now today I can't get iTunes to update song info on existing or newly added songs. It briefly shows the changes in the library window, but they vanish when you look at song info again. Normally, there is a slight delay while the info is saved. If the same song is playing, it will drop for a split second. The delay is longer if the file is larger. Now there is 0 delay. I havn't changed any iTunes settings since yesterday. I tried restarting iTunes, with no change. I tried restarting my Macbook, with no change. I have tried converting the tag version, with no change. I have tried re-importing as .m4a which DOES fix the issue, but only for .m4a. It's not realistic to re-encode my entire library, or every single file I want to edit a tag on or add to my library. Any help?
