Battery life for 1 week old iPad Pro is very short
My battery life is very short and I'm afraid to use it for any length of time.

Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. Apple doesn't actually replace batteries in iPad, but they offer a battery service, which is in essence a refurbished device with a new screen, new battery and internal checked to as new condition, for $99. The question may be the age of your device and whether they still have refurbs available for the device.
