Is my Apple watch swimmable?
I just bought an Apple Watch 3. It says it's usable for swimming. Is that true? If yes, are there specific steps I need to take before and after a swim?

Yes, that is correct. Apple Watch series 2, 3 and 4 can be used for shallow water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean.
You don't need to do anything to start swimming, though to prevent accidental screen touches from the water pressure on the screen, you can turn on the Water Lock.

If you initiated Swimming workout from the pre established workouts on the watch, it will automatically turn on the Water lock. You would need to turn it off, to regain access to the touch screen and end the workout.

Thanks for the info. I intend to restart my swimming routine next week and will let you know if I have an issue.
On a second question, if you don't mind, I recently (two days ago) used my AppleWatch app on my iPhone to delete all but one watch face. I only need the time and weather and not a bunch of other info on a regular basis. Since I did that, my watch does not keep a battery charge for longer than 8 or 10 hours. Before I eliminated the faces, my watch seemed to be good for almost two days without charging. I'm getting 100% charge indication on my watch. I charge it overnight for at least 9 hours every day. Any ideas about the battery life issue?
I've swam a couple of times with my watch. It seems the face is not sensing finger swipes when it's wet. I have a hard time turning the timer off and ending the swim tracking. How do I stop the timer and end the swim session while I am still in the pool?
I'm confused. The water drop is turned off using the physical crown, not tapping on the screen. The screen being wet is not relevant.
Once its turned off, the drop will disappear, and the screen should again be responsive to touch.
Here's what I do:
Is that correct process?
I tried that but I had difficulty getting to the tear drop because the screen was wet.
