How can I SUM in Numbers all cell BELOW the Cell?

Lets say my summing cell is C2. How can I sum every cell from C3 to the bottom. Something like to C3:BOTOM. The number of rows in the table are changing a lot. So updating every time the second variable after ":" is disturbing.

Once way is to use a special form of the OFFSET function, like this:

=SUM(OFFSET(C2,1,0,ROWS(C)−2))

If possible, though, recommend making use of Header Rows and Footer Rows in Numbers. Here Rows 1 and 2 are defined as Header Rows.

The formula simplifies to :

=SUM(C)

Substitute ; for , in formulas if you region uses , as a decimal separator.
