Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I try to drag any kind of media into my project a message comes up saying
"There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. Please choose another one or clear some space."
I have 90Gb of storage left on my device ( 2019 MacBook Pro)

I'm having the same issue. Brand new MacBook Pro, 4 TB external hard drive. Imports clips into timeline just fine but any sound clip it rejects with the error message, "There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. Please choose another one or clear some space."

I have reset my preferences. My import settings are all the defaults (image attached). The media is just photos or 1080p videos from the photos app. Optimisation is off. The library and media are stored in the movies folder on Macintosh hd > users > My user.
FCP version 10.4.6 and on Mac OS Mojave

Start by resetting your preferences. What are your import settings in FCP preferences? What’s the media you’re importing? Do you have optimization checked on? Where is your library and your media stored?
What FCP version and OS are you using?
Can you post one of the files that's having the problem somewhere that it can be downloaded?
What version and OS are you using? I can't reproduce the problem with any media I have in 10.4.6 using Mojave.
