trouble charging

My headphones work in the charging port, but when i plug my charger in, it does not work. I have to force my charger in multiple times before it does.

Follow ALL the steps provided in this support guide:--> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

If you don't any any improvement, have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP: Apple – Location Selector
