HDMI CEC (2018 Mac mini)
Does the 2018 Mac mini natively support HDMI CEC?
Can it power up an HDTV and AVR when switching on/waking from sleep?
Likewise can it turn off the HDTV/AVR when it goes to sleep?
Or does it require some kind of adapter?

Sadly as mentioned by Marco no Macs support CEC. In fact the only Apple device that does is the Apple TV4 and 4K.
However there is a way to add CEC control capabilities to a Mac. You will first need the following hardware.
