Dashboard issue
I'm trying to add/change the widgets on my dashboard. When I press F12, all that happens is the volume goes up or down. So how do you add/remove/change widgets?

When you click on the Dashboard icon in the Dock, the Dashboard launches and in the lower left corner there will be + and - symbols for adding or removing installed Dashboard applications from the Dashboard.
Catalina (10.15) when it is released this Fall will drop the Dashboard altogether.
