I want to cancel a second apple id that keeps popping up looking for password that I have not got

Deleting the AppleID won’t get rid of the popups. The popups are telling you that you have apps or content with an update detecting but the app or content was purchased with the other AppleID and not the AppleID you’re currently using. You need to delete those apps and repurchase them under your current AppleID if you wish the popups to go away.


And, btw, you cannot delete an AppleID if you cannot sign into that AppleID so you’d need to reset that password to use or get rid of that AppleID.
