I tried deleting 2 credit cards from Apple Pay but now when I open the app, to see if I'm eligible to sign up for the Apple Card, it wants me to reactivate the two deleted cards. How do I completely remove these cards? I've tried going to iPhone preferences, Apple Pay Wallet, and deleting them. And I've deleted from within Apple Wallet. Neither solution is completely removing them.

Surely there's a way to delete them permanently. What happens when they expire or you close the account? Hmmmm.... I'm still researching too. Thanks for your help! I'm curious if they need to be deleted in order for me to see the Apple Card once it's out for the general public.... I need my Apple Card :)
did you try swiping left on them? There Amy not be a way to delete them.
Are you trying through the Wallet app or are you going into settings>Wallet & Apple Pay and deleting them there?
None of my previous cards are showing up when I try to add a new card.
Interesting. I've tried it both ways.... well, I just realized I have a software update. Let's see if this works.
