iphone 6plus

i recently changed my iphone from 6plus 16gb to 6plus 64gb and the 16 gb had no space on the icloud but i had backed up everything and on the new phone the 64 gb when i want to back up on my icloud its refusing and saying storage on icloud is full how can i back up when its saying that. I will really appreciate your help thank you.
