Pic Location Info & Shared Albums

Why do I lose location data and keywords when I add pix to a shared album? Is there any way I can preserve this info?

It is intentional. Photos is stripping the information from the photos you are sharing for security reasons so you do not accidentally share more information than you want. When you add. Photos to a shared album you can add a comment. Put all information you want to share into this comment.

If you want to save all photos at the full resolution, you should download them from the iPhone using a USB connection. Adding them to a shared album will reduce the size and quality. It is no good way to archive your photos.
