How do I turn this off? Why does my family have to be disturbed every time someone wants to do something to their device? This is insane!! I should be able to decide if this is a feature I want to have.

Why does your family have to be disturbed? Are you sharing an Apple ID? That's generally a bad idea. They are intended to be used by only one person.


When are you being asked for the the code? I get asked for it maybe twice a month (usually after IT at work messes with my work computer). It really shouldn't be that intrusive. If you could explain when it's happening, perhaps people could help you figure out what's going wrong.


And, you can also change which devices get the code. See the article razmee209 linked to above for instructions on managing your trusted devices.
