Applie ID login problem

Five years ago, I gave up my Apple phone and telephone number. I can't log into Apple ID because answers to my security questions are not working (was "model of my first car" my parents car I drove or the one I purchased!?!??) to obtain new questions, I need access to Apple device, which I no longer have OR Recovery Codes, which I do not have.

Do I simply try to initiate a new Apple ID or is there another way to rescue access to my AppleID account?
