Time machine has flashing amber light

My time machine has a flashing amber light and will not back up. I unplugged, pushed the reset button on the time machine unit, still flashing.

Any ideas?

In Dock : Launchpad : Other, select Airport Utility, and launch it. This will show your Airport TIme Capsule, and clicking on the name of the Time Capsule should provide you with a description of why there is a yellow light flashing. It might be a drive full, or ISP DNS disruption, or even an available firmware update pending.
