Syncing iPhone and MacBook Pro

For some reason my MacBook and iPhone are not syncing in the sense that I cannot find any of my contacts or messages on my macbook. How do I sync them so that I can have my messages and contacts on my MacBook?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, brynn195.

If I understand your post correctly, contacts and messages are not appearing on your MacBook. I’d like to help.

To sync your contacts follow these steps:

Add contacts from iCloud, Google, and more to Contacts on Mac

Follow the steps in this article to sync your messages:

Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch

Let us know if that resolves this issue for you.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Take care.
