crashed during the update then disabled my iPhone

I also am having trouble with the iOS 12.4 update it crashed during the update then disabled my iPhone at 15 min I placed the right passcode but still get disabled at 15 min I don’t know what to do I just want my photos but it is not backed to iTunes or iCloud due to me tracing and had no access to my computer and didn’t have enough iCloud storage. I went to the Apple support and they diagnosed my iPhone and found that the update did indeed crash my iPhone that caused the disabled message to appear. So what am I to do if the update caused this problem and not I the user. There needs to be a fix. I need help from Apple please I want only my photos back!!!!’

I did contact them and they said they will look over the issue especially the ones in the Apple Support in the Apple Store they also sent the problem in to look into because they did notice a bug from the update but can’t do anything until they get the authorization from the head office. They also told me to create a thread about my issue and add feedback because they want to look into it. I also talked to senior Advices in the chat and also by call they have reported it but I am not giving up and hoping that my believe in Apple and their loyalty to their customers can find a way to help me because I know my passcode I have been using the same one for years. It is still not completely disabled so they told me leave it as it is and hopefully there will be a way. They also told me visit third party data recovery companies to recover the data but I hope Apple can help. I really do if not to unlock but fix the bug causing the RIGHT passcode to be wrong and glitches in the emergency call page adding in message bar on the bottom.

Actually no I did not accept an update and I’m currently traveling so I don’t have the time I prefer not to keep photos on the iCloud and I have a right to if they wanted to only have a solution through the iCloud then photos should not have the option to be turned off from the iCloud setting this should have a solution Incase of any problem. Apple support did diagnose my iPhone and said that there was a crash frik their side so it is whatsoever my fault for every option available to the user their should be a solution. Just like before in find my iPhone u can change ur passcode but now it is no longer available also if u have been reading the news many iCloud users have been hacked and their personal data stolen and photos deleted with no solution whatsoever also iMessage is hacked and Apple server was just hacked so don’t start placing fault on others Apple used always help out of these situations without problem or breaking their privacy motto. With every problem there is a solution. Also the solution they keep giving is visit third party and this shouldn’t be happening if a third party can help y can’t Apple.

Your data is your responsibility, not Apple's.

If you don't have the time to keep your data safe, well, it's yours decision, but Apple has nothing do to with it.

Crashes happen. Technology is not perfect. That's it.

All of these are lies. Apple server was never hacked, lol. I've been using iCloud since day 1 and I made sure that my account is secure and guess what? It has never been hacked!

If people are dumb setting a password "1234" – it's their fault again, not Apple's.

Look everyone can have their point of view on a situation. It is more on your experience. I have been a loyal Apple user since day one and have always backed up on my computer my pics and iCloud everything else. Data is still lost even during iCloud back up and not everyone can afford to pay monthly installments to store all their pics on the cloud no matter the price. Sometimes people do have circumstance where they are so busy in life and living that they don’t have time to back up. I am not talking about a year not backing up just the last month. You might be having this view because nothing has affected you in this situation you are not the victim I would have agreed with you a couple of days back but know I understand why it is important for Apple to find a solution. A passcode is just like a password to my iCloud and Apple ID why isn’t their and option Forgot my Passcode? Then answer your secret question and reset your passcode. Or using two factor authentication get a 1 minute code to activate your phone verify it is you through signing in to your Apple ID then resetting your passcode. Or by having your Apple Watch within proximity of the iPhone and unlocking your Apple Watch to I click your phone. Or by going into my iCloud since it stores the same amount of info as my phone and clicking on my device and change the passcode. There are multiple ways where this is solved without Apple having to interfere or break my privacy.
