What happens if I use compressed gas (e.g. Dust-off) on my XS Max lightning port?

Hi all,

I used some canned gas (difluoro-ethane) to blow dust out of my xs max lightning port. I used it for about 4 seconds continuously. I am now reading that apple does not recommend using compressed air/aerosols on iPhones. What’s the worst that can happen here?

Damaging the seals is my biggest fear. I put at least a centimeter of space between the tube and the port.

If you really want to do it, it's up to you. Apple doesn't recommend it, but I think they're just being overly cautious knowing how many people will use these canisters and come complaining to Apple if something is damaged.
