Home Sharing Suddenly not working

I have a gen 3 apple tv that keeps telling me to switch on home sharing. I have used the set up for a long while and connect to a windows pc running windows 10. All on the same wifi network and apple id.

I get 2 factor authentication on the box but not on the pc. Is this right?
