Apple ID disabled, can't reset via email or security questions

My son has wiped his iPhone to trade in. it is associated to his Apple ID which has now been disabled. He has no access to the email address, and doesn't know his security questions. What can I do????

Contact iTunes Support in the country where you live (and which is therefore the country on the account) and see if they can/will re-enable it : If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes’

If necessary, If you/he are the original owner, take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.
