Hello! I just noticed that there is a microphone icon on the top left corner of my lock screen/wallpaper (iPhone SE). Is there a way to remove the icon from the lock screen? Thanks for your help.

Presumably you have allowed some application(s) to access your microphone. Check Settings > Privacy > Microphone and review the list.
What iOS are you using? You need to go to settings>general>reset>and reset all settings. You can also perform a forced reboot. Open Control center and make sure everything is off there.
I disabled all apps access to the microphone, yet it still shows up on the lock screen. I just want to make sure that I am not being recorded without my permission. Any other ideas why this is happening? Thanks!
I currently have ios 12.4. I would prefer not to reset all settings. It took me a long time to fix all my settings when I first got the phone. :) As long as an app is not constantly recording everything I say, I guess I'm ok with the microphone being there. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!

An app is probably not recording. You might press the microphone and see what app gets invoked.
