how do i stop bing? i google and bing takes over.

You have adware/malware installed. Use  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After scanning a couple of times, restart the computer and test. If necessary, follow the manual instructions.  Do not download any other programs that are listed in the articles.   Malwarebytes uninstall

are you using Norton? I have had this annoying bing redirect 2 times so far, I would get rid of it, reinstall Norton and it would come back so this time I deleted Norton and like magic safari was searching with google just like I have set up in preferences, I don't know what's wrong with Norton but it won't be getting installed on my MacBook again.
