Macbook Pro 2018 Recovery // Error -2101F

I'm attempting to reinstall macOS to my Macbook Pro 2018. During the initial recovery process, the machine froze on a screen that said "2 Minutes Remaining" for nearly 3 hours. I then turned off the machine and powered it back on. Now when powering up it gives a blinking folder icon with a question mark. I've attempted to startup while holding option-R or simply option, plus a few other combinations. Each time I'm taken to internet recovery. After a few minutes of a spinning globe and status bar, I get an exclamation point in a triangle with the following text "apple.com/support" and "-2101F".

What is the problem here? I just want this macbook back and running.

Also, I've attempted to create a USB disk installer with macOS. But that still takes me into internet recovery which times out giving the same error.
