USB Port Connection Hello I have a iPhone 13 pro and recently updated to IOS 15.1. The other day I plugged my phone into my car via lightening cable and it charged my phone but it wouldn’t connect to my car’s radio. When I went to play music it just played out of the phone itself. I’ve tried changing lightening cables and restarted the phone but it didn’t change anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I just had an aftermarket ApplePlay radio installed in my 2011 Chevy. Even though that I had an iP 12 ahead of the installation a “normal” USB port was used. How can I get my 12 to attach? What cord or adapter do I need so that I may attach my iPhone 12 to a newly installed aftermarket ApplePlay radio to a USB port in my car?

Use the standard Lightning to USB cable that came with your iPhone.
