Cover for apple watch

Hi everyone, I have a question for you about the new apple watch 4. In your opinion, does it make sense to apply a more or less rigid cover to the apple watch? keeping in mind that I surf and then I could fall (I hope never) on some stone? Obviously I do not pretend that it is still indestructible

If you're very active it would make sense to protect the watch as much as possible. As for surfing, I would remove the watch.
