I have an Iphone 8 and a new macbook. I messaged my moms iphone xr from my macbook. Now I can't receive any of her messages on my iphone. They all go to to my Macbook. Even if she types in my number it still goes to my macbook.

Are you using the same Apple ID for Messages/FaceTime on the phone? Have you signed into Messages/FaceTime and made sure the phone number and email addresses are enabled? Can you send messages from the phone?
