Original Thunderbolt Port

I have a MacBook Air 2017 with one original Thunderbolt port. Is there a Thunderbolt male to USB-C female adapter out there that converts this port? Is there a Thunderbolt male to Thunderbolt 3 male adapter? Is there anything I can do with this port except plug in a monitor?

Thunderbolt ports I have a late 2015 iMac. It has two thunderbolt ports - rectangular 1/2 ports, NOT oval thunderbolt 3. I want to use these because I need to connect some additional devices to my machine. I can't find an any adapters or hubs that would allow me to connect these to anything like modern USB devices. Mini display connectors are available to connect these ports to HDMI, etc. but not USB. Is there any way to use these or are they worthless?

Connecting macbook air to thunderbolt 3 display Hi, I recently bought a LG 24-inch UltraFine 4K USB-C Display. I want to connect my 2017 Macbook Air to this monitor. My Macbook air only has thunderbolt 2 (mini displayport), so the included USB-C cable does not suffice. What cable(s) do I need in order to properly connect them? Kind regards

Thunderbolt 2 Ports I have an early 2015 MacBook Pro with two thunderbolt 2 ports. I can't find any Thunderbolt 2 adapters which would work with today's USB-C devices. Is there such a thing? It would have to be an adapter with a Thunderbolt 2 Male and an USB-C female. I am beginning to think that the Thunderbolt 2 ports have gone the way of the dinosaurs. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Apple sells a dongle TB2 to TBC I believe it’s must be thunderbolt to thunderbolt. Cost about $49.00
