Dear all,
I have a Finepix S9600 camera I haven't used for a while. Seems like since the last time I used it I upgraded my OS to Sierra and I cannot install the camera's driver or find any upgrade to it which works. My mac does not recognise the camera so I cannot even see the folder with pictures... I am at a loss!
Anyone has come across something similar?

Have you tried using Image Capture to see if it can access the camera?
As Fuji made it it might be better to contact Fuji to see if there are any updates for it and macOS.
Have you opened Image Capture (in your Applications folder) or instead of connecting the camera direct to your Mac can you take the card out and put it in a card reader.
Shoot. Now I remember where the term FinePix was used. Image Capture may be the only opportunity.
Contact Nikon and ask them what Nikon software or firmware updates are needed for your COOLPIX S9600 camera on macOS Sierra (10.12.6).
