My desktop screen/finder keep flashing every 2-3sec... When i try to open anything on dashboard, it says error or it won't open. It won't even launch the top bar for me to assess the "spotlight".
But if I log in into another account and it stopped flashing? But it won't stop flashing on my primary account?
What can i do?
I have read other forums it doesn't help
I don't think its screen issue its like a bug or something. Please help.
Try a Safe Boot which will disable Startup & Login items among other things. Safe Mode will take longer to boot and you may see the screen flash or flicker due to the very basic video driver being used. See if Safe Mode will allow you to log into your main account so you can investigate the issue. If you can log in, then most likely one of the login items is causing the problem. You just need to remove the problem login item from starting each time you log in.
