I keep having problems where Finder doesn’t respond and the mouse cursor just spins indefinitely. I reinstalled the OS, and it worked for a little while and then a few hours later reverted back. It happens mostly when we try to save a file. Anyone experience this?

Make a backup, if you don't have one. This can be one of the first signals of a harddrive failure
