Apple Music/ iTunes Store

Hi,

My iPhone transferred me across to the American store for films and music. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for this and now I am struggling to change it back to the UK version, which means that the Apple Music that I pay for is no longer working. I have followed online guidance to change it back, yet it will not work for me.

Thank you,

Josh

This is a difficult issue to resolve. The following steps may or may not work:

Do all this in the order it’s listed

Next ...

  • Launch Settings
  • Tap on General.
  • Tap on Language & Region near the bottom.
  • Tap on Region
  • Select your home region.

Next .....

in Settings- iTunes App Store - your name - sign in

Next .....

Open the music app

Tap on the For you Tab-

Tap on your profile in upper right corner

Scroll down to .view Apple ID - Sign out - Sign back  in

Now to restore your Apple Music

Turn iCloud Music Library off, then on again - Or just turn it on if it was off, then go to step 4

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

    1. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it off.
    2. Close Settings.
    3. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.
    4. Turn on “Show Apple Music”
