NO CHARGING INDICATOR ON SCREEN

Hi! This is my first time having an IPhone device. I just bought it

(6S Plus). I am just curious because I didn't see any charging indicator on screen while it's being turned off. But when I turn it on, it shows that it's charging. How can I identify if my device is already fully charged when turned off ?

This is an authentic one.

Sometimes people do buy cheap ones and they could destroy the battery and even the phone.
