I just got a macbook air and I cant update my apps like keynotes , page , imovie.. etc.
It tell me to update but it tells me to go to account page and to update it from there but it still doesnt work

Is this a used laptop? Then the software is associated with the previous owner's AppleID. You could try deleting those apps, then installing them using your own AppleID. However, a better solution would be to backup all your files and boot into Internet Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R to erase the SSD and reinstall macOS to remove all traces of the previous owner.
If this is a brand new laptop, then what is the exact error message you are receiving?
