FaceTime server error.

I updated to IOS 12.4 on my iPad Air today and now I can’t sign in to facetime or iMessage. I get the message :

Facetime Activation. Unable to contact the Facetime server. Try again.


Please help

Try this If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


Some have stated doing this - Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings - has resolved their issue.

Problem solved. Called Apple. They had me do a Reset Network settings. totally solved the problem. Just had to re-enter my wi-fi password, as that gets erased. It was a connectivity issue so they basically refreshed the network settings, which is wi-fi.All good now, back to normal. to do this, go to Settings, General, at bottom, Reset, then Rest Network Settings.
