my iphone 6 i may have pressed whilst in my handbag install updates ...now i cannot turn on or off all that comes up is small at the top supportapple.com/iphone/restore itunes logo halfway down the screen arrow and lead

my iPhone 6 whilst in my handbag decided to update which it won't do whilst not plugged in at home ..so then when I checked 10 mins it is not responding , I tried the turn off which it did but then it turned itself back on displaying only a black screen with small at the top

half way down the iTunes logo with small arrow pointing upwards and below that an image of the lead ...it will not do anything else completely none responsive its plugged into the mains within wifi any suggestions /

I've tried the holding the off button and the round button on the phone front at the same time as this usually sorts out all sorts .. should I try taking the sim out and putting back? turning off and on again ?
