Updating problem

My computer is stuck on the updating screen and the bar underneath the apple sign won’t move

Is this a restart after the update has been downloaded, how long have you left it. Sometimes it can take a long time,

although if it about an hour I would power down and see if it will boot back up. If it doesn't boot up, try booting

up in Safe Mode, Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support
