I did a system update now my computer won’t boot up.. it’s stuck at like 95 percent

Hold down the power button until the iMac shuts down. Then press it again and let it boot up and try to complete the installation.

i started downloading an update and now MacBook Air will not load. Tried a power down and still will not load. Frozen at around 80%
