Front mic not working?

Hello, I have an iPhone 6S Plus and it runs pretty well, all things considered. However, I have noticed a few issues with the mic, specifically the front one. T works fine when I record on Snapchat with both cameras. When I use FaceTime, it takes 3-4 seconds before the mic starts working, same with recording Facebook messenger videos, but with Facebook Messenger camming and my phone’s front cam, it doesn’t work. It’s somewhat spotty on front cam, if I’m loud enough. I recorded a video where I let a second counter play and adjusted the volume while recording, and some seconds weren’t recorded while others were. Doesn’t work at all on Facebook Messenger camming with friends. And it won’t let me even set up Hey Siri. I’ve dealt for a while once I noticed it, but it’s begun to interfere with my usage. I’ve taken off my screen protector, tried cleaning it, etc.

Has anyone else had this odd issue? And if so, how did you fix it?
